In today’s government meeting, Prime Minister Albin Kurti referenced the attack on September 24 in Banjskë, Zveçan, where Police Officer Afrim Bunjaku was killed.
He stated that during his visit to the United States, where he traveled at the invitation of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), he asked the senators and congressmen he met to exert more pressure for the organizer of that attack, Milan Radoičić, and other participants to be brought to justice.
“Four days ago marked exactly 11 months since Serbia’s aggression against our country, which resulted in the death of Police Officer Afrim Bunjaku, now a hero of Kosovo. Serbia has yet to be held accountable for this attack and continues to refuse to surrender its main criminal, Milan Radoičić, to our authorities,” Kurti said.
“During my stay in the United States, in bilateral meetings with American senators and congressmen on the sidelines of the Democratic Convention, I requested that there be more pressure from the Western democratic world to bring to justice those responsible for the terrorist and destabilizing acts of official Belgrade and the relevant individuals,” he added.
