Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was honored as the guest of honor at a dinner hosted by the Diplomatic Circle of Paris, attended by prominent figures from France’s diplomatic, political, and economic spheres, the Prime Minister’s Office reported.

In his address, Kurti emphasized the importance of solidarity and cooperation among democratic countries in advancing societies and addressing common challenges. He highlighted that the values and interests of European nations must always progress hand in hand.

Kurti also spoke about Kosovo and the Western Balkans’ EU and NATO aspirations, noting that the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU serves both the economic and security interests of the Union and its member states. He stressed that external EU enlargement and internal reforms go hand in hand, stating:

“Only a Europe willing to reform from within can successfully expand externally, and only a Europe ready to expand externally can reform effectively from within. External enlargement and internal reforms are simultaneously opportunities and conditions for each other.”

Today, Kurti will participate in the eighth edition of the Peace Forum in Paris, upon invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron.
