Kosovo’s Acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, met on Thursday at the House of Kosovo in Davos with Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem, Kuwait’s Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, who also serves as Acting Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti expressed gratitude for Kuwait’s strong and continuous support for Kosovo’s progress, describing it as a foundation for deepening economic cooperation and encouraging foreign investment in key sectors of interest to Kosovo.

Kurti emphasized that priority areas for cooperation include water resources, infrastructure, and energy, noting that the next government mandate will focus on major strategic projects, such as the construction of dams, stadiums, railways, and new energy capacities.

In a post on social media, Kurti described the discussion as productive, highlighting that Kuwait’s continued support represents not only political backing but also an opportunity to strengthen bilateral economic ties and attract long-term investments that align with Kosovo’s development goals.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, where Kosovo is actively engaging with international partners to promote investment opportunities and regional economic development.
