Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti of Kosovo received today the “Distinguished Alumni” award from the University of Prishtina (UP).
In his acceptance speech, Kurti emphasized his deep connection with the past and future of the university, noting that the fate of Kosovo is inseparable from the fate of UP.
“I see myself as closely linked to the past and also the future of this university. The University divides our history into two eras: Prishtina before and after its establishment. Likewise, the fate of Kosovo is inseparable from the fate of the University of Prishtina. Hasan Prishtina University should be our greatest international significance. It is our duty to make this university the highest-ranked in the region,” Kurti said.
