The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, to whom he said that he is always welcome in Kosovo.
The head of the Kosovar executive has emphasized that Kosovo is always grateful to Albania for the contribution made in all the stages that the country has gone through.
“We are grateful to Albania for its contribution before the war, during and after the war. The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, is always welcome. Being both a soldier and a doctor, I know June 12, 1999 very well,” Kurti said.
Meanwhile, the president of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has said that the holiday belongs to both countries, while the success of Kosovo is also the country he leads.
“Thank you Kosovo for the hospitality. Today is the day of the rebirth of Kosovo, of putting in place that centuries-old injustice that was made possible with the blood and sacrifice of the heroes of the KLA, and I want to congratulate Kosovo for everything it has done so far and everything it will do in the future for in the future to have a people who will have well-being and prosperity”, said Begaj.
The Albanian president is staying in Kosovo in honor of June 12, the day of liberation.
