Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met on Wednesday with the head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, the head of EULEX, ambassadors of EU member states and the British ambassador.

According to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, Kurti received congratulations on the election of Kosovo’s president and the restoration of institutional stability, which the government said creates conditions for focusing fully on its plans and priorities for the new mandate.

“Alongside discussions on continued cooperation and reforms, support was reaffirmed for the progress of the Republic of Kosovo on its path toward European Union integration,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a brief statement following the meeting.

The meeting comes as Kosovo’s government seeks to advance its reform agenda and strengthen cooperation with international partners in support of the country’s European integration.
