Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti met with the European Union’s Special Representative for the European Union-facilitated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Peter Sørensen, to discuss recent developments and the ongoing negotiation process.
During the meeting, Sørensen congratulated Kurti on the formation of the new government and his new mandate, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The discussions focused on the rule of law, Kosovo’s progress toward European integration, and the EU-mediated dialogue process. Officials emphasized that these remain key priorities for the government’s agenda.
The government reiterated that Kosovo remains committed to fully normalizing relations with Serbia based on mutual recognition, stressing that this goal continues to guide its participation in the dialogue.
