The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today with the non-resident Ambassador of Ireland to Kosovo, Ragnar Almqvist, on the occasion of Saint Patrick’s Day.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the ambassador on the holiday and highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Kosovo and Ireland. He also thanked Ireland for its continued support for Kosovo, including the decision to lift visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders and its backing of Kosovo in European integration processes, particularly within the European Union and the Council of Europe.
According to the statement, the meeting also focused on deepening bilateral cooperation, sharing Ireland’s experiences in engaging with its diaspora, and expanding collaboration in the field of cultural exchanges between the two countries.
