Kurti Meets New Dutch Ambassador, Thanks Her for Support on Council of Europe Membership

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met today with the new Dutch Ambassador to Kosovo, Karin Boven.

According to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Kurti congratulated Boven on her new role and thanked her for the Netherlands’ support and contribution to Kosovo’s liberation and development.

“In their first meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated her on her new position and expressed gratitude for the Netherlands’ continued support and contribution to Kosovo’s liberation and development, as well as for its support in joining the Council of Europe. He added that Kosovo aims to also become a member of the EU and NATO, joining the Netherlands and many other allied and partner states.”

“Together, the Prime Minister and the Ambassador highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Kosovo and the Netherlands and their commitment to further deepening and strengthening them. Prime Minister Kurti briefed the Ambassador on the socio-economic and democratic progress of the country, which has been demonstrated over the past three years and reflected in positive international indicators, measurements, and rankings.”
