On Monday morning, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with ambassadors from the Quint countries following the recent attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal.

Sources from Reporteri indicate that there will be a public address to the media at 10:00 AM.

It is important to note that the United States immediately condemned the attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal, stating that they would monitor the situation closely and provide support for a comprehensive investigation, while offering their full backing to the Government of Kosovo.

“The United States strongly condemns the November 29th attack on critical infrastructure in Kosovo, which damaged a water channel in Zubin Potok, essential for Kosovo’s water supply and the operation of its power plants. We are closely monitoring the situation and will support a thorough investigation. We have offered our full support to the Government of Kosovo to ensure those responsible for this criminal act are identified and held accountable,” said the U.S. Embassy’s statement.
