The cooperation between Kosovo and the Vienna Economic Forum (VEF) is becoming increasingly close.
To discuss further steps towards advancing the role of the organization and promoting businesses from Kosovo as a measure towards economic development, Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with the VEF Secretary General, Elena Kirtcheva.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of advancing the status of the organization with Kosovo’s assistance as a VEF member and organizing the next forum in Vienna in November this year.
The establishment of a VEF office in Kosovo was also a focal point, which will be agreed upon through a memorandum of understanding between the organization and the Prime Minister’s office.
“The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to close cooperation with VEF and the promotion of local businesses to achieve economic growth for the benefit of all Kosovo citizens,” stated the Prime Minister’s office.
