Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has stated that the relationship between Kosovo and the United States is excellent, emphasizing that cooperation with the newly elected President, Donald Trump, will be carried out through the state institutions rather than through companies or intermediaries.
In an interview with KosovaPress, Kurti expressed confidence in the strong ties between the two nations, saying that he doesn’t foresee any difficulties in maintaining excellent relations with the United States.
“We have excellent relations with the United States, not only in the field of diplomacy but also in defense and development. With President Trump, we will cooperate and communicate through official channels between state institutions, rather than with companies or intermediaries. We have the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo and our Ambassador Ilir Dugolli, who works tirelessly with American state institutions,” Kurti said.
He further emphasized that the United States is Kosovo’s primary partner and irreplaceable ally.
