For the first time, Kosovo will play in League B of the Nations League. The promotion to League B, which is the second level of the Nations League, was secured by the “Dardanians” on Sunday night in Murcia, Spain.
After the match, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, reacted and congratulated the Kosovo team for their victory.
“Five goals in two matches against Iceland, three of them from Vedat Muriqi, elevate Kosovo to Group B of the UEFA Nations League, and fill all of us with pride for the performance of our players and the result achieved.”
“Congratulations for the game, best wishes, and many more victories and successes ahead,” Kurti wrote.
