The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid tribute and laid a wreath at the grave of the prominent activist and patriot of the national cause, Fazli Greiçevci, on the 61st anniversary of his death.

Fazli Greiçevci belonged to an early generation of activists who gave everything for the freedom we enjoy today. He played an important role in political organizations and activities alongside activist and symbol of national resistance, Adem Demaçi. Beyond his role as an activist and patriot, Fazli Greiçevci contributed as a teacher, poet, intellectual, and tireless activist.

On this anniversary, we remember him and honor his glorious work for freedom and dignity. He died from lethal torture inflicted by the Yugoslav secret police in Prishtina prison on August 17, 1964.

Glory to the life and work of Fazli Greiçevci!
