The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, commemorated the 27th anniversary of the massacre in Lubizhdë e Hasit, accusing Serbia of crimes and genocide against Albanians during the Kosovo war.
He stated that on April 12, 1999, Serbian forces surrounded the area where Albanian civilians had taken shelter, carrying out torture, executions, and the forced expulsion of the population.
Kurti recalled that during that period, unarmed civilians and members of the Kosovo Liberation Army were killed, describing the events as a state crime committed by Serbia.
