Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has extended his condolences for the victims tragically killed in a school shooting in Graz, Austria, on Tuesday.
Kurti emphasized that everyone has the fundamental right to safety and an environment free from fear. “Everyone has the fundamental right to safety and an environment where they can learn without fear and threat. On behalf of the people and Government of Kosovo, I express my condolences to the affected families and extend our solidarity with the people of Austria,” he wrote on X.
Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, also conveyed her condolences earlier in the day.
Eleven people were killed when a young man opened fire in a school in Graz on Tuesday morning, with several others sustaining injuries.
