Prime Minister Albin Kurti provided details about yesterday’s meeting with the ambassadors of the Quint states.

In a press conference, he stated that the meeting with the ambassadors was substantial and consultative, and he announced that one of the topics discussed was the necessity of opening the Ibër Bridge.

“Of course, no one can say that this is not a good or right thing, but we want the law to be enforced and freedom of movement to be respected, while at the same time ensuring peace and security for everyone.

The opening of the main bridge over the Ibër River, which we aim for, is not against anyone, but is for the citizens and for goods and capital. It helps people on both sides of the Ibër without distinction of ethnicity. There are also three other bridges over the Ibër River, and only this bridge remains closed to vehicles. We do not think this is right,” stated the head of the government.
