Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will visit North Macedonia at the beginning of next week.
According to sources, on Monday, August 5, 2024, Prime Minister Kurti will meet with his counterpart from North Macedonia, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM and will also include several other members of the North Macedonian government from the VLEN coalition.
According to information, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Donika Gërvalla Schwarz, will also be part of this meeting.
This visit comes at a time when Kosovo has sent a protest note to North Macedonia regarding an incident that occurred at Skopje’s airport involving the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani. The airport police had asked President Osmani to surrender her handbag and cell phone for inspection, which led to a confrontation between the President’s security and the airport security.
