Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has traveled to Munich, Germany, to participate in the three-day Security Conference, the world’s leading forum for debating international security policies and diplomatic initiatives to address the most pressing global security concerns.
The 61st Munich Security Conference will take place from February 14 to 16 at the Bayerischer Hof hotel, offering an unprecedented platform for high-level debates on the major challenges facing foreign and security policy today.
The conference will host 450 global figures, including heads of state, ministers, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, high-ranking industry leaders, media professionals, academics, and civil society representatives.
Also in Munich is Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, who today participated in the fourth ministerial meeting on countering terrorism financing as a global security threat.
Munich Security Conference’s Global Significance
While the Munich Security Conference has transatlantic and European roots, its activities reflect an increasingly globalized world, drawing attention to emerging security issues that may not yet be at the forefront of the international security agenda.
