Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti responded after the Kosovo Assembly failed to approve his proposed government for a third mandate.
In a Facebook post where he shared his address, Kurti thanked all the deputies who voted in favor. He stated that his cabinet will continue to work as a caretaker government until new parliamentary elections.
“I thank all the deputies who supported the proposal for the new government cabinet and the citizens for their support. Since the vote resulted in 56 FOR, 52 AGAINST, and 4 ABSTENTIONS, our new mandate cannot yet begin. Meanwhile, we will continue as a caretaker government towards new parliamentary elections,” Kurti wrote.
