Prime Minister Albin Kurti today hosted a delegation composed of professors, journalists, and civil society representatives from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, and the Maldives.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, Kurti briefed them on the latest developments in the country, the characteristics that distinguish the Republic of Kosovo and its society, its policies, clear Euro-Atlantic orientation, and the achievements in governance related to the economy, institutional reforms, and democracy.
“Prime Minister Kurti highlighted the success of employment measures, the growth in exports and foreign direct investments, investments in education and agriculture, improvements in the rule of law, and institutional stability, which he referred to as the political infrastructure for economic growth and democratic progress that the country has achieved over the past nearly four years. He stated that Kosovo is an example that human dignity, human rights, political pluralism, and the rule of law align and enable economic growth and national development,” the statement reads.
The statement also notes that during the discussion, Prime Minister Kurti answered various questions from the participants, while also discussing opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of experiences between their countries and Kosovo in areas such as agriculture, education, energy, and infrastructure.
