Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed members of the Alpine Club “Prishtina”, who are preparing for their next expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Kurti was joined by Acting Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Daulina Osmani, during the meeting.
During the visit, the mountaineers presented their final preparations and plans for the expedition to Tanzania, where they aim to reach the 5,895-meter summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on the anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence.
Organizers and representatives of the climbing group explained that the initiative is intended as a way to represent and promote Kosovo internationally through mountaineering and sports achievements. Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the team for their dedication to promoting the country and wished them success in this significant expedition.
