Prime Minister Albin Kurti today welcomed Ukrainian citizens living and working in Kosovo to the Government on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, stating that Kosovo has become a second home for them.
Kurti affirmed that Kosovo will continue to be a strong supporter of Ukraine’s liberation struggle for peace, freedom, and democracy, and a steadfast ally of the Ukrainian people’s resistance and determination in defending their country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
“May the just fight for freedom triumph against the violence, brutality, and unjustified aggression of the Russian Federation.
Happy Independence Day to Ukraine and all its citizens!” Kurti wrote.
