Prime Minister Albin Kurti recently commented on Facebook regarding his meeting today with Assistant Secretary Jim O’Brien.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated that the surrender of the Serbian terrorist leader, Milan Radoiçiq, and his paramilitary group would signify legality, justice, peace, and security. He said that they discussed the Basic Agreement and the implementation annex, which Serbia is avoiding by not signing and continuously violating.

“His first visit to Kosovo in his new role coincided with our second meeting in less than a month. With the Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. State Department, James C. O’Brien, we discussed for over two hours bilateral relations and areas where we can further deepen the close ties between our two countries, as well as regional cooperation and the Basic Agreement and its implementation annex, which Serbia is avoiding by not signing and constantly violating,” wrote Kurti.

“We are always grateful to the United States for their historical role and ongoing support for the Republic of Kosovo and our people, as well as for the close cooperation we have in key sectors for the country’s development, such as energy, economy, finance, security, and defense.”
