Kuwait International Airport has been struck for the seventh time since the beginning of the ongoing conflict, Sinjali reports.

The most recent attack occurred last week, when a fuel depot caught fire. Civil defense teams required 58 hours to fully extinguish the blaze.

Over the past two weeks, there has been an alarming increase in attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kuwait. Refineries, ports, the airport, and a facility for water desalination and energy production have all been damaged in recent days.

In response to the escalating situation, the National Bank of Kuwait announced it would remain closed today and tomorrow as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of its clients and staff, A2CNN reports.

These developments underscore the authorities’ growing concern and the escalating nature of the conflict in the region.
