Kyiv Under Heavy Nighttime Attacks – Eight Injured by Russian Missiles and Drones

A powerful airstrike by Russian forces struck the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, during the night, injuring at least eight people and causing significant material damage in several parts of the city.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, two people were injured in the Dniprovskyi district as a result of explosions caused by drones and missiles.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a building caught fire following the strike, leaving two more citizens injured and hospitalized. Meanwhile, in the Obolonskyi district, a residential structure was set ablaze, raising further concerns about the safety of residents in Kyiv’s urban areas.

Ukraine responded with air defense systems, while eyewitnesses reported a large number of drones flying over the city and powerful explosions that rocked the capital.
