Vladimir Toliq, Blagoje Spasojević, and Dušan Maksimović—charged with involvement in the terrorist attack in Banjska, Zvecan—appeared today before the judicial panel at the Basic Court in Prishtina.
The lawyer representing injured police officer Alban Rashiti, Naim Rudari, strongly supported the prosecution’s evidence, describing the attack as the most serious act of violence in Kosovo since the war.
“Fortunately, the attackers were stopped at the very first line of resistance. However, the consequences were grave—Afrim Bunjaku lost his life, several officers were injured, and in truth, the entire Kosovo Police was wounded by this act,” Rudari stated.
He expressed full support for criminal prosecution on behalf of the injured officer, emphasizing the need for justice.
“I urge the court to ensure that the three accused receive the punishment they deserve—nothing less than life imprisonment,” Rudari declared.
