Pierre Richard Prosper, the lawyer for former President Hashim Thaçi’s defense team, stated that for five years they have been hiding behind a cloud of misinterpretations and historical distortions.
Now, with the defense witness hearings concluded, he said the world has had the opportunity to see the reality, reports Klankosova.tv.
Prosper made these remarks in an exclusive interview on the show Info Magazine on Klan Kosova.
He believes that the truth has been revealed during this process, and as a result, Thaçi and others will be free.
“We are confident that the judges will now see the information and evidence to understand exactly what happened and what the situation was. But at the end of the day, we have triumphed in recording accurate historical data. Now it is up to the judges, but I believe that if they see the truth as it is, President Thaçi and the others will be men who are free,” he said, among other things, in the interview.
