Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), announced that the party’s leadership will convene today following a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani and other political leaders, according to Gazeta Express.

Abdixhiku emphasized that President Osmani should refer the political blockade to the Constitutional Court to find a resolution to the ongoing crisis.

He stated:
“I am pleased there was some positive reflection from other parties in terms of consideration and participation, except for the ruling party, which lacked a clear position or alternative ideas on how to resolve this situation. As we have said, insistence on partisan desires perpetuates the political deadlock. I will meet with the party leadership and we will issue an official political statement from LDK. In the current situation, we are not interested in continuing with this circus of meetings every 48 hours. It is best if the president, with time, considers sending this issue to the Constitutional Court as soon as possible.”
