The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, repeated on Thursday the accusations that Serbia and Russia are continuing to try to destabilize Kosovo, while talking about the situation in the country and the region.

Osmani made this statement after participating in the fourth Summit of the European Political Community held at Blenheim Palace, in the United Kingdom.

Osmani, but also the other heads of Kosovo’s institutions, have recently intensified their warnings that Russia, through Serbia, is aiming to destabilize Kosovo.

“We were at the table, with many other leaders, where we discussed the protection of democracy and the fight against disinformation. Although our country has never allowed Russian influence or other malignant forces, however, as long as the neighboring country, Serbia, is used as a satellite of Russia and as long as it unfortunately belongs to the mentality of the last century, they will continue to try to destabilize it not only our country, but also the entire region and through this the entire European continent”, said Osmani.

Even the speaker of the parliament, Gluak Konjufca, declared a week ago that Serbia can repeat the scenario of Banjska even on a larger scale.

This is what Konjufca declared in a conference after the meeting with the president of the Swiss National Council, Eric Nussbaumer.

He mentioned the danger that threatens Kosovo due to Serbia’s territorial claims.

“We also talked about security in Kosovo and the dangers we are facing due to Serbia’s territorial claims. If Serbia is left unpunished regarding the terrorist aggression in Banjska that was carried out in September last year, Serbia will have to repeat this scenario but on a larger scale,” said Konjufca.

Konjufca said that while Serbia continues to be Russia’s ally, it should be seen as a danger for the entire Balkans.
