Huseyin A., the individual accused of murdering Albanian boxer Besar Nimani, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Germany.

The Bielefeld Court confirmed the sentence, revealing that Huseyin A., along with an accomplice, meticulously planned the murder of Nimani. The tragic event occurred on March 9 of the previous year, when Nimani was shot 16 times.

The news was confirmed by journalist Bahri Cani, who reported the verdict. While Huseyin A. has been sentenced, the alleged co-conspirator remains at large and is currently on the run.

Both the defense attorney representing the Nimani family and the District Prosecutor’s Office had requested the life sentence, which was granted by the court.

This case has shocked the Albanian community and beyond, as Besar Nimani was known for his promising boxing career and his tragic end has left a void in the world of sports.
