Representatives of the civic platform “Liria ka Emër”, Eliza Hoxha and Ismail Tasholli, met today with the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, to discuss the upcoming citizen march “Justice, Not Politics” scheduled for tomorrow in Pristina.

The meeting focused on the importance of mobilizing citizens in support of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) figures—Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi, and their colleagues—currently on trial at the Specialized Chambers in The Hague, as well as on the broader significance of civic unity at this decisive moment in the judicial process.

Eliza Hoxha emphasized that the march represents an expression of civic conscience and unity beyond political divides.
“This march is the voice of citizens calling for justice and dignity. It is a moment when our society demonstrates its ability to unite around issues that transcend politics,” Hoxha said.

Ismail Tasholli underlined that mass participation will send a clear message about respect for truth and justice.
“Tomorrow, Pristina will be the voice of citizens demanding impartial justice and protection of the values of the liberation struggle,” Tasholli added.

Speaker Albulena Haxhiu praised the platform’s efforts and highlighted the significance of active citizen engagement during this critical period.
“I commend your commitment and mobilization. It will be a grand march, because when it comes to the values of the liberation struggle, the KLA unites us all,” Haxhiu stated.

The “Liria ka Emër” platform thanked Speaker Haxhiu for the constructive discussion and reiterated the call for citizens to join the “Justice, Not Politics” march tomorrow in Pristina.
