Lithuania will deliver 4,500 drones worth €5 million to Ukraine this week, marking a significant boost to Kyiv’s military capabilities amid the ongoing conflict.

The announcement was made by Lithuania’s Minister of Defense, Dovilė Šakalienė, via the social media platform X, as reported by Ukrinform.

“I am proud to share that Lithuania is sending 4,500 drones worth €5 million to Ukraine this week,” Šakalienė wrote.

The minister also highlighted a recent decision by the Lithuanian government to adopt a new procedure for transferring state assets. This policy aims to expedite the process of delivering aid to Ukraine.

The move underscores Lithuania’s steadfast support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, continuing its commitment to providing critical military aid.
