Long Waits Continue: Merdare Remains the Busiest Border Crossing

The longest waits for exiting Kosovo continue at the Merdare border crossing, where current delays reach up to 3 hours and 20 minutes (180–200 minutes). The exit queue at this point is approximately 2,000 meters long.

The situation is easier for entry, with waiting times of only 3 to 5 minutes and no significant queues.

Other border crossings also report notable delays:

  • Dheu i Bardhë: Exit waits are 30 to 40 minutes, with a queue approximately 200 meters long. Entry waits range from 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Jarinjë: Exit waits are 15 to 20 minutes, with a queue of 150 meters. Entry waits are lighter, at 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Bërnjak: Exit waits are around 10 minutes, while entry waits reach 30 minutes, with a small 20-meter queue at exit.
