Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), held a high-level meeting with Elisa Spiropali, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, to discuss regional political developments, security challenges, and the importance of coordinated action between Kosovo and Albania in Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

During the meeting, Abdixhiku emphasized the need for a unified stance toward international partners and highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional cooperation to ensure regional stability and advance Kosovo’s European integration agenda.

He stressed that the Kosovo–Albania relationship is built on shared history, common values, and mutual aspirations, and underscored their joint responsibility to contribute to lasting peace and a strong European perspective in the region.

The discussions also focused on enhancing close institutional collaboration, maintaining regular political dialogue, and providing mutual support in Euro-Atlantic integration efforts. Abdixhiku described this cooperation as a strategic pillar for the future of citizens and for boosting the role of Kosovo and Albania on the international stage.
