Mërgim Lushtaku of the PDK reacted via a Facebook post after the Special Court held a session for Hashim Thaçi on November 28, Albanian Flag Day.
Lushtaku stated that holding the trial on this day, a public holiday for Kosovo’s judicial institutions, is further evidence that the Special Court is influenced and politically manipulated.
“It is unacceptable that this Court, which claims to be an institution of justice, continuously attempts to undermine the dignity of the KLA leaders who are in The Hague,” Lushtaku wrote.
He further added: “On the Nation’s Day, the Special Court once again tries to diminish the KLA.”
