North Macedonia Nightclub Fire: 35 Victims Identified, Four Arrest Warrants Issued

The death toll from the devastating nightclub fire in North Macedonia has risen to at least 59, according to Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski. So far, authorities have identified 35 victims—31 from Koçani and four from Shtip.

The number of injured has climbed to 155, with victims receiving treatment in multiple hospitals across the country.

Among those who lost their lives is a police officer who was at the club conducting an inspection related to possible drug possession.

In connection with the incident, authorities have issued four arrest warrants. Additionally, the Ministry of Economy is under investigation regarding the nightclub’s documentation and compliance with safety regulations.
