French President Emmanuel Macron has called for an urgent European leaders’ summit in Paris on Monday, as confirmed by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski during the Munich Security Conference.

Sikorski emphasized the need for a serious discussion regarding the challenges posed by U.S. President Donald Trump, describing his approach as “razvedka boyem”—a Russian military term for probing through confrontation.

According to EU officials, it remains unclear whether the meeting will include all EU leaders or a select group of countries. It is also uncertain whether UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will be invited. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has confirmed his attendance at Macron’s request.

Macron’s initiative underscores growing European concerns about Trump’s policies and their impact on transatlantic relations.
