French President Emmanuel Macron said the bloc has a “duty” to extend the sanctions at the leaders’ summit in Brussels.
He said entities involved in the production of drones and missiles should be specifically targeted.
The leaders were meeting to discuss how to respond to Iran’s attack over the weekend, with Israel’s allies calling for more sanctions to discourage any response from Israel that could lead to wider escalation, Al Jazeera reported.
