French President Emmanuel Macron has reacted to the latest developments in the Middle East, warning that a potential war involving the United States, Israel, and Iran would have serious consequences for international peace and security.

Macron described the current escalation as “dangerous for everyone”, stressing that the Iranian regime must understand that there is no alternative but to engage sincerely in negotiations aimed at ending its nuclear and ballistic missile programs, as well as activities that destabilize the region.

In a message posted on X, the French leader also emphasized that the Iranian people should have the opportunity to build a free future. At the same time, he confirmed that France is calling for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council to address the rapidly evolving situation.

Macron added that he will consult closely with European and regional allies as diplomatic efforts intensify to prevent further escalation in the Middle East.
