French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed concern that France and other European Union countries are within the operational range of Russian ballistic missiles.

According to him, Russia produces submarines, missiles, and tanks to deploy them on the Ukrainian front and potentially to intimidate Europe in the future if the EU shows any weakness, as Russia possesses a full spectrum of weapons.

“We are within the operational range of these systems. Intercontinental ballistic missiles— all of us are threatened by them,” said the French president.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously dismissed as unfounded the claims of European politicians regarding a possible war by Russia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, addressing the general debate at the 80th UN General Assembly session, emphasized that Russia has never had, nor currently has, any intention to attack NATO or the European Union.
