The news comes after Macron’s return from a visit to Poland, as he landed at Paris airport this evening.
On December 4th, the French parliament voted to dismiss Prime Minister Michel Barnier’s government, marking the first such vote of no confidence since the fall of the Georges Pompidou government in 1962.
