French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that military action cannot resolve Iran’s nuclear issue, emphasizing the need for diplomacy.

Speaking during a visit to South Korea, Macron said that attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran will not provide a lasting solution to the country’s nuclear program.

“If there is no framework for diplomatic and technical negotiations, the situation could deteriorate again within months or years,” he warned.

Macron also described a potential military operation to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as unrealistic.

“It would require an enormous amount of time and would expose any entity passing through the strait to coastal threats from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, which possess significant resources, ballistic missiles, and various other risks,” he added.
