Austrian politician Lukas Mandl has emphasized the need for small and medium-sized countries, such as Austria and Kosovo, to strengthen their international partnerships.
In an interview with KosovaPress, Mandl highlighted the crucial role of alliances for nations with limited geopolitical influence. He specifically pointed to Kosovo’s relationship with the United States as a key factor in its political and economic stability.
“I believe it is essential for every country, especially small or medium-sized ones like Austria, to strengthen their ties with global partners, with the EU, and in Kosovo’s case, with the U.S.,” Mandl stated.
He further noted that reinforcing these international relationships should be a priority for Kosovo’s new government and parliament, as the country navigates both regional and global challenges.
Mandl has been a strong advocate for Kosovo’s European integration and has frequently voiced support for the country’s deepening cooperation with Western allies.
