Maqedonci: 350 New Soldiers Take Oath – Kosovo’s Army Stronger Than Ever

The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, welcomed the oath-taking ceremony of 350 new recruits in the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), emphasizing the significance of this moment for the state, reports RKS News.

“Over 2,700 service members have been recruited in four years of governance,” he said, adding: “We concluded the month of glorious events for our people with the oath ceremony of 350 new recruits who today begin their journey as soldiers in the Kosovo Security Force.”

The Minister congratulated the youth on their decision, stressing that this duty is “as difficult as it is noble.”

He also addressed today’s security challenges, underscoring that “in these times of global and domestic security challenges, the development of military capabilities is essential.”

Maqedonci expressed confidence and pride, stating that “today the Kosovo Army is stronger, better equipped, and more prepared than ever before, with modern armament systems and young men and women who serve the Republic of Kosovo with unmatched will and courage.”

Reaffirming support for the armed forces, he said: “As Minister, I assure you that investments in the defense sector will continue. Our military personnel will always have my and the Government’s support.”

In conclusion, he wished the new soldiers well: “Success to our new soldiers — may you always bring honor!”
