Acting Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Ejup Maqedonci, expressed his honor in hosting the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, David A. Baker, as part of strengthening international defense relations.

In his statement, Maqedonci noted that in the context of global dynamics, the two discussed regional and broader challenges to security and peace.

He emphasized the progress made since their previous meeting, particularly regarding co-production initiatives with the United States and the development of Kosovo’s defense industry—an area he says holds significant growth potential.

“We highlighted the important progress made since our last meeting, especially in regard to co-production initiatives with the United States and the development of Kosovo’s defense industry, a sector recognized for its considerable potential,” Maqedonci wrote.
