Maqedonci and Dietz Discuss Strengthening Cybersecurity and Defense Capacities

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo, Ejup Maqedonci, met today with Eric Dietz, head of Luxembourg Office in Kosovo.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense of Kosovo, the meeting focused on deepening bilateral cooperation in the fields of security and defense.

During the discussions, in the context of new challenges and hybrid threats, the officials emphasized the importance of strengthening capacities in cybersecurity, exchanging expertise, and building joint defense mechanisms as a strategic necessity.

It was also noted that cooperation in the defense industry was discussed, with a particular focus on developing modern capabilities that contribute to increasing institutional readiness and resilience.

The ministry stated that Luxembourg remains a valued partner for Kosovo, adding that the Ministry of Defense of Kosovo is committed to further strengthening the partnership through concrete projects and long-term cooperation aimed at enhancing security and stability.
