Kosovo’s acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, today held an official meeting with the Commander of KFOR, Major General Enrico Barduani. The discussion focused on the security situation at both regional and global levels.
Both parties highly praised the participation of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in the inter-institutional exercise “Golden Sabre 25.” This exercise, organized by KFOR in cooperation with the KSF and Kosovo Police, was highlighted as a concrete example of inter-institutional coordination and cooperation. Such exercises are crucial for strengthening response capabilities in emergency situations and enhancing confidence in collective security.
Deepening Cooperation and Future Coordination
The meeting underscored the importance of KSF’s involvement in “Golden Sabre 25,” noting its positive impact on deepening cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and KFOR.
Minister Maqedonci expressed his readiness for continued mutual coordination on matters of common interest, particularly concerning current developments and their influence on the security environment.
