Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci has said that terrorist attacks from Serbia in Kosovo, especially in the northern part of the country, may be possible as long as Milan Radoicic and his group are at liberty.
Asked about Prime Minister Kurti’s warning that there could be attacks in the North before or after the new year, he said that this was warned all the time, but that Kurti was more specific.
Macedonci said that Radoicic’s group continues to be supported by Serbia’s security structures and carries out activities in the country.
“Attacks may be possible due to the fact that Radoicic’s group continues to be free, moreover it continues to be supported by security structures in Serbia and continues to remain organized,” he said in Teve1.
Macedonci has said that with the warnings of attacks they do not want to cause panic among the citizens, but as he has said it is their duty to inform the citizens of the dangers and threats that come to the country.
In 2024 alone, 15 attacks were carried out in the north of the country, which also targeted institutional facilities. The last one was on November 29 in the channel “Iber – Lepencit”.
