Maqedonci: We are creating units designed for combat operations

The Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Ejup Macedonci, has said that Kosovo is preparing a professional army ready to protect the country’s sovereignty and territory.

He announced that they are creating units designed for combat operations.

“We are honoring a truly professional army interoperable with NATO and ready to defend the territory and sovereignty of our country, we are creating units designed for combat operations and to defend our country and normally we have the will and readiness to the highest extent to react in case it is required of us when the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country are violated”, said Maqedonci in the show “Këndi i Debati” on Tëvë 1.

He said that if the need arises, KSF is ready to act in the northern part of the country in coordination with KFOR.

“Always, the presence of KFOR obliges us to do preliminary coordination, especially for the northern parts. We have a cooperation, a full synchronization with KFOR regarding the possible engagement of the KSF in case it is required in that part. In coordination with KFOR, we are ready to implement every task we have in the KSF mission wherever it is requested of us”, said the minister.
